Rigoletto had candles let around his room, he tested the strings of his violin before allowing the bow to draw across the strings bringing a beautiful, ricg & wonderful sound.

The doctor had been passing the herbology professor’s office in her typical businesslike manner; however she paused at the door, listening to him play with a rather enigmatic smile touching her mouth. Leaning against his doorframe, she crossed one long, lean leg over the other, silently courteous and unwilling for him to break the tune simply because of her presence.

Rigoletto heard the faint of foot steeps, as he lightly sniffed the air picking up the smell of one he knew he could hear them as they approached & stopped. He did not miss a beat as he changed to, one of a lullaby of what some said was written for the lost souls over time.

She listened through the piece’s entirety before finally speaking in the low voice one used during intermission at the Opera, “I’ve not heard that before – it’s truly lovely.” Her right hand came to rest gently on the swell of her belly, where the song had lulled her children to sleep. Wulf, played the violin, but the professor played with a certain flair that her husband never quite achieved.

His back had been to her, at her word he turned as he ended the piece as he turned to Dustin as he lightly bowed to her. "Thank you, it is an song that is meant to bring peace to the souls of the lost"

Curious, she inquired, “How long have you played?” Notably there was a lack of address – she always seemed to know precisely what to call everyone – except Rigoletto. He hadn’t yet invited her to call him by his given name, and there didn’t seem to be a word in any of the languages she knew that indicated the type of respect she wished to give him. She also seemed to be holding something back – some question she didn’t feel quite right asking and yet that niggled her conscience, refusing to be left unasked.

He did not apper upprised by the answer so, he answered it as simply as he did the others. "Snce I was very young, about 5 or close to it, at least that is when I started, Doctor. One may start, but it takes time to learn to play any instrument" He knew he had yet to address her or give her freedom to use his name, but he also knew that some of his habits for long ago where harder to brake then others.

She inclined her head, accepting the answer, not playing an instrument herself she really didn’t know. For an easy moment, she was silent, and then, an imperceptible frown crossing her features for the briefest of seconds, she inquired hesitantly, “Your last name is Carillondra, is it not?”

At her question, it was not the question that made him wanted a bit but how she asked it. What was it that she was hesetent about saying his last name or was there more then he for the second was over looking. He had a suspetion that, he was going to find out quickly. "It is" He then waited to see what she would, say or do.

Now that the subject was breached, she seemed to have no problem speaking. “Is your family quite old?” she inquired, completely conversational, though what, precisely, was driving her questioning wasn’t clear. That she phrased it so, though, rather indicated she knew the answer was yes.

He looked at her "It has been said, that it is an older name. But then what name is not & I am sure there is older ones as well"

Her eyes were starting to cut through his words, dissecting them as if to pull a truth he seemed to be reluctant in sharing with her. “I was looking through some rather old family journals, you see – from far back in the Drache line, and I came across your name. I simply found it startling enough to be of note and to inquire.” Well that seemed innocent enough.

Ether she knew or it was simply a talk about a name. But he was not one to tell any thing he did not wise, to speak off. "Realy & how far back was this, journal that you found?"

“Seventy-some generations,” she said it thoughtfully, “back when the Drachen were at odds with lycanthropes over territory. Apparently, Dieter studied Carillon-dra after his victory. I merely found his description interesting.” While she did not elaborate, she seemed to know quite enough to put the pieces together if she wanted. Just how much she knew or guessed was ambiguous at best.

He heard her words "I see, well perhaps the Carillon-dra family foes back farther then I origanaly thought" He looked at her not giving any hint to the truth, but he did speak with his own words to answer hers in a way that would be much as another wizards would.
