((I'm using this post to start the explanation of a week-long leave. We'll consider this posted as of the 18th or whenever it was I stopped being able to access my computer. This is not in real-time.))
As if someone had shouted her name to catch her attention, she turned her head quickly, completely distracted by what seemed to be an actual emergency. The flipendo hit her squarely, and, surprised, she pulled herself into a pike, controlling her descent and landing in a crouch, one hand extended before her for balance, the other going to cover her right ear as if it pained her terribly.
Her usual porcelain face screwed up slightly, dispelling the langlock, her now violet eyes rising to the headmaster’s black ones, suddenly deathly serious. Her voice was quiet and intense as she told him in a tone that brooked no opposition, tolerated no questions, “I must leave, Herr Professor. Right now.”
Turning her face to the door she called out, “Juggy!”
Waiting for the house elf to appear by her side, she explained to the headmaster in similar hushed tones, “There’s a family emergency. I’m not sure how long I’ll be gone. I’ll return as soon as I can.”
The house elf cracked in next to her and she told it, “Bring me to the gates, Juggy.” The two clasped hands and cracked out, where the doctor slipped past the marker of the grounds and apparated away with a negligent whisper of a sound.

Snape saw his spell hit, but he did not strike again after all this was a friendly duel. He did not miss that she had taken her concentration away from him, at her looked he waited & listened to her words he did not speak simply giving a light nodded that she was dismissed. He would waited for her to come back, to ask anything about what happened. Once she left Snape moved to do the same, before moving back to his office.
