Name: Wilhelm Georg Wulfe
Also known as: Wulf
Proper title: Oberstleutnant or Oberst (Colonel)
Birthday: February 2, 1967
Age: 41
Blood-Type: Pure
Gender: Male
Father: Karl Wulfe, Pureblood Charms Master
Mother: Winifred Himmel, Pureblood Archaeologist specializing in unsolved history
Married: Yes, to Frau Doktor Dustin Drache
Children: On the way
Wand: 12 ¾ inches, White Poplar and Dragon Heartstring
Job: High ranking field officer in the German Wizarding Army
Looks like: Wulf looks like the archetypical German male, six and a half feet tall, built with tightly compact muscle and almost no fat. While a little on the pale side, he has well-kept honey-blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, and a smile that would put Gilderoy Lockheart to shame. He has a strong jaw, unremarkably pointed nose, and a high, open forehead which, while he is not in uniform, is covered with stray bangs. His hands are both deft and elegant, and while not in combat they handle things with a certain delicacy that betray both good breeding and his awareness of how easily he could break even sturdy pieces without thought.
House: No House affiliation, except through his wife, who was a Slytherin for two years
History: Wulf’s parents had been arranged for marriage since they were born; both balked out from this old-fashioned notion, intent on finding true love. While Winifred was working on her university research thesis in Australia, she met Karl, there for a symposium on foreign charms. After a whirlwind romance they went back home, each determined to face their parents and deal with the consequences, only to find out that they were engaged before they could walk. They married quickly and produced half a dozen children in three sets of twins in rather short order (two sets of girls and a set of boys in between).
Wulf had a normal childhood, growing up with a strong sense of familial duty, and duty to his country. He attended university, majoring in combative magic and minoring in criminal justice. He subsequently enrolled as a low-ranking field officer in the German Wizarding Army and sped his way through the ranks as quickly as possible, giving the internal promotion system. Wulf met Dustin through one of his sisters, whom she had roomed with while achieving her doctorate; they wed within a year. He was indispensable in gaining military support when his wife entered the field of politics and began stringently securing their nations borders.
He has been continually gaining rank and specialization, organizing training programs, and expanding the force of das Zauberarmee while also working with other nations to progress international security. He is well-known in his home country for a scandal in which the public was not aware of his marriage and some compromising photos were published from their honeymoon. The whole thing eventually got smoothed over, but the wizarding community never forgot.
Hobbies: Running, ballroom/latin dancing, violin
Strengths: Wulf is a progressive thinker, an intellectual, a brilliant tactician, and a sensitive advocate. He has a natural charisma that make him a popular leader, and a lightening-quick wand-hand. He has superior magic and cerebral strength, and can make nightclub bouncers shiver in fear without flexing a muscle. Most importantly, though, he is a loyal friend and a gentle husband.
Weakness: People often deem Wulf the inferior or even dumb partner in his relationship, simply because Dustin is more frequently in the public eye and he looks like a brainless jock. He also trusts his friends and his men implicitly and is often let down. Though temperamentally his fuse is exceptionally long, once he loses it, the resulting force rivals the atomic bomb.
Likes: Anything theoretical, from muggle physics to magic, being outdoors, and soy products
Dislikes: Vegetables, the color pink, clowns, being used, prejudice, and waste
Notes:I've been playing him on the side for a while and figured it was time to flesh him out a little. When I envision Wulf he looks like John Barrowman in his role as the lead tenor in the 2005 rendition of The Producers (the main singer in the song "Springtime for Hitler." Unfortunately I can't find a picture from this scene, so I can't attach one; but if you've seen the movie you know who I'm talking about.
