“Because it seems, at this time of the day, that my daughter decides to be quite unreasonable, despite the fact that she is tired and wishes to sleep, and fidgets and yowls until she hears you play or exhausts herself.” Her mouth quirked, “It is, indeed, more work than I initially anticipated.”

He softly chuckled at her wprds, but not loud enogh to wake the child in her arms. "Perhaps in the end, children can hear what many of adults can not. They hear the sound of a lullyibly in no more then a song & they see as well as hear this world in a way that is nothing but ayy & wander"

“I’ve no doubt you’re right, Mein Herr.” She smiled at the peaceful expression on the child’s face before turning up to meet the Herbology Professor’s eyes. “If I may ask – why do you play… at this time, I mean?” It was nothing more or less than a polite question, though highly flattering in that she had obviously noticed.

He heard her words, at her question he spoke "I find that it souths my own soul into the want for rest, should I play the right soung"

The woman made a move to stand, as if recognizing that she had, indeed, been intruding on his time and wished to rectify that immediately, “Forgive me, Herr Carillon-Dra, I didn’t realize. You must be quite tired.” After all, not everyone had been spending the past few weeks with little to no broken sleep looking after three newborns. He definitely deserved his rest.

He saw her move to rise & beat her to it as was his custume. At her words he spoke "You are not intuding, as I told you before. But you asked why I play, so I gave the honest answer, but there always more then one answer & I have found another on this day"

Easing herself back into the seat, appeased, she tipped her head up curiously, obviously asking without words what, precisely, he meant. She hadn’t intended any slight by standing as quickly as she had, merely that if he were tired there was no reason not to let her know such that she could leave him to rest. Honestly, she wasn’t sure how often vampires found themselves in need of rest, but he had said the playing helped soothe him, and that seemed reason enough for her.

"I see from your word & your daughter reaction of my music, is another reason for me to play" He then waited to see what she would say.

On her daughter’s behalf, the tall woman let the faintest trace of a blush touch the prominent bones of her cheeks as she inclined her head gratefully. Meeting metallic eyes with black ones, she murmured, “You are quiet a remarkable man, Mein Herr.” Shifting her daughter slightly to a more comfortable hold, the corner of her mouth turned up gently.

He saw her blush, as well as her actions. At her words he was a bit supprised "A remarkable man? What makes you say that?"

Taking a moment to consider exactly how she wanted to phrase it she explained, “I believe it uncommon that a man would add the quieting of a coworker’s newborn to a list of reasons for anything, especially if the opposite had no impact on him.” After a brief pause she added, as though she suddenly realized it might not have been exactly as flattering as she had meant it, “I did mean it as a compliment.”

He heard her words "Then pehaps, yes I would be a man like few" In more ways then one, but his words where true. "I know, I am just not one that has grow use to such words"

“Perhaps,” she replied, “that is because you are also remarkably modest.” She raised an eyebrow as if to indicate that there was no perhaps about it, and that this, also, was meant as a compliment. Drawing her daughter a little closer to herself, she smiled almost openly. “I would like to thank you again, Herr Carillon-dra.” She now stood – not in the rushed fashion she had before – but rather retiringly. “If you’ll excuse us?”

He heard her first words "Perhaps" At her second words he light nodded to her "Your welcome" As she rose he did so as well, when she spoke her last words he lightly nodded "Of course, perhaps are paths will cross again" The last part was more a it could happen then it was a question.
